No, there is no time limit that you must build within. One of the advantages of buying at The Retreat is that you can build when you're ready, now or when you retire.

Can I use anyone to build my home?
You may use any builder approved by the Architectural Control Committee. They will review, approve, or deny permit applications and plans for any proposed home, structure, pool, fence, retaining wall or detached building that may be built in The Retreat. The Retreat is happy to provide you with a list of excellent approved builders.

Since The Retreat is not within city limits, will I have to install septic and water? 
No, The Retreat offers central water, sewage, electrical and telephone. Owners never spend a dime on utilities until they’re ready to use them.

How do property taxes at The Retreat compare to those in the Metroplex?
Combined county/school tax rate is approximately 38% less than the DFW Metroplex. In addition to county/school taxes, most cities collect additional taxes for hospital & college districts; Cleburne does not, so your total tax savings will be significantly higher.

Via the Chisholm Trail Parkway, how far is The Retreat from downtown Fort Worth?

Are golf memberships available?

Retreat owners also receive 8 complimentary rounds of golf per year per lot owned, which may be used for accompanied guests.

Is the Country Club cash only?
